Welcome to our February journal. February often gets overlooked. It sits quietly between the reset of January and the promise of spring, but that’s exactly why we like it. It’s a month for soft focus rather than sharp goals. Less pressure, more intention.
This is the time to check in with yourself. To notice what’s been feeling heavy and what’s been quietly working. Wellness doesn’t always mean doing more. Sometimes it means slowing down, carving out an hour, and letting someone else take care of you for a change.
A visit to the salon can be part of that. The warmth. The calm music. The routine of sitting in the chair. A proper consultation. A scalp cleanse. Time away from your phone. These small rituals matter more than we give them credit for. As winter lingers, we’re seeing more dry scalps, sensitive skin, tired hair and tired minds. February is a good moment to reset gently. Nourish the scalp. Protect your colour. Rehydrate your hair. And give yourself permission to pause.
Spring will arrive soon enough. For now, February is about balance, care, and choosing what supports you. That’s something we’ll always make space for here.
OWAY TO INSIGHT
We have some exciting news to share as we embark on a new Italian product journey.
After careful consideration and time, we’ve made the decision to part ways with Oway as our salon product range. We will always be incredibly thankful for everything we’ve achieved together over the past four years, and deeply appreciative of the role Oway has played in our journey. However, we feel that now is the right moment for change.
We’re delighted to share that we are now officially an INSIGHT Salon. Created in the countryside of Bologna, Italy, INSIGHT products are crafted with intention and integrity. Each formulation is made with up to 96% naturally derived ingredients and is dermatologically tested, while proudly upholding the same values we hold close, vegan, clean, and sustainably conscious.
This new chapter reflects our continued commitment to quality, care, and thoughtful beauty, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Ruby is a master of all aspects of hairdressing, with a real passion for colour. She loves creating seamless blondes through expert highlighting and balayage techniques, always focused on making her clients feel confident and beautiful.

Man Down is here to stay
After a really strong first session, we just wanted to say a genuine thank you to everyone who supported, shared, showed up, or simply encouraged this to exist locally.
The first Man Down Greenwich meeting felt like a real success. There was a great turnout, but more importantly the feedback on the night and afterwards was incredibly positive. Several men thanked us for the space, the atmosphere, and for creating something that feels safe, calm, and needed. That alone confirmed why this matters.
Because of that, we’re really pleased to share that Man Down Greenwich will now run fortnightly at the salon.

Monday 9th February , 7pm–9pm
This is about community, conversation, and creating space for men to talk honestly, without pressure or judgement.
